Visual Narrative: Living Voices Week 4

The inbetweens requires a lot of patience and instead of finding reference videos online, I chose to reference myself as the poses are not really expressive and only half of the body.

I think about the arcs and timing a lot when animating. Trying to be a bit playful, I added exaggeration and secondary action (to the hair) in my animation.

CONCLUSION:

First time doing the in-betweening for an aniimation is really fun and mostly because I enjoy acting the poses out myself and reference them. With the animation principles in mind, I figured out several ways to add some interesting transformations about the inbetweens which feels rewarding.
