I immediately think of the Connection between the world of the dead and real life when I got the project name. I believe in reincarnation so the project name’ Connection’ already speaks for itself in this case.
I did some research on how a temple is arranged and managed to build them in Maya. After setting the ideal camera shot, I transformed them into my own paintings.

The story is about a man reincarnated as a cat to keep his partner in company after his death. It could be any animal but I chose cat because I got many real-life reference, having many stray cats in my neighbourhood and I am kind od running out of time for I was trying so hard learning the software.
I wanted to animate human movements at first but .due to lack of experience in the software, I only managed to make little items to move.
I am really pleased with the end result of the red string ,which represents marriage in Chinese culture, animation. I tried a plug-in Called ‘Stroke’ and was amazed by the flexibility.
All the storyboarding are generated right away in my brain as soon as I got the theme name and it would be inappropriate to fake one as my “storyboard” so this is the reason why I did not include a storyboard in this project.
